A whole lot of old timey here, girl group and tropical gestures that reminds us of the sepia-tinged summers of our youth. It all feels so relaxing, as if the 2-week vacation mood is at our beck and call once we press play on ’23 Pelican Sky’. There is a lot going on too but it falls into place neatly, mostly because the vocals are such that they have a view of the azure waters and are more willing to pass on those good vibes to the rest of us. Just too lovely to resist, we all need a Hannah in our lives and on this occasion we are lucky to share the company of two of them. KH
