Acoustic persuasion and a singer who holds court in that quiet arena because she has access to her own internal workings, the ones that are stirred by the death of a parent, that have a sense of the childlike about them. Let’s hope the gift of being a teenager never gets lost with this track showing us how with emotions running high what is possible from a measured approach to one that turns a heavier shade of indie rock and in the process LA’s Wilt tell us that the course of passionate creativity is alive and well in their hands.
