Alesia Lani’s soulful song Lean Into You captures the vulnerability of new love. The lyrics invite listeners into the defenseless feelings of falling for someone, as Alesia sings, “I try to fight it but I can’t win / When it comes to you I just give in.”
For Alesia, the song came as a surprise after receiving the beat from her collaborator and producer Black Mike. With the help of Christopher Spivey on keys and Alex Alco on guitar and percussion, Lean Into You was created.
The music video introduces Alesia singing in a bohemian garden setting adorned with paintings and candles. Alesia wears a black sombrero embellished with red leather tassels, immediately drawing viewers into her performance. Her emotive vocals and the romantic atmosphere let her guard down.
