The song has soulful aspects that amp up the volume. With nostalgic glimmers of electric guitar, bass, drum programming, keys, flute, and humming, the atmosphere never grows dull. We love the chorus, mostly because it’s catchy.
Breaking Away explores the fear and uncertainty that come with growing apart from loved ones while embracing the positive transformation that comes with change. But, well, everything happens for a reason. The truth is that there are times when we must accept things as they are and search for the bright side.
