Canadian singer-songwriter Dylan Menzie kicks-off the next era of his career with the uplifting new single ‘Strong Enough’, offering a preview of his forthcoming album.

Since launching his career in 2013, Dylan Menzie has consistently built a reputation as a highly skilled musician. His distinctive take on folk music, infused with elements of pop and rock, has been described as indie-pop Americana.
Dylan’s musical journey includes tens of thousands of streams and performances at prestigious venues and festivals globally. He’s graced stages at the Edmonton Folk Festival, Australia Music Week, Breakout West, M for Montreal, and Americanafest UK, among others. His acoustic EP Modern Classic earned him the Rising Star Recording of the Year at the 2022 East Coast Music Awards and SOCAN Songwriter of the Year at the 2024 Music PEI Awards.
With such an impressive background, Dylan is gearing up for the next chapter of his artistic adventure with his new song, Strong Enough. This track, born from a sad moment, ultimately centres on themes of perseverance and moving forward.
Elaborating on the events that inspired this composition, Dylan Menzie explains:
“When you pour your soul into something – it can weigh heavily on your sense of self when it doesn’t meet whatever expectations you had for it. Putting art into the world can feel like such a weird high-wire act – to balance putting such personal experiences into something and then trying to sell them.
At the same time – I feel like dedicating my life to writing and performing songs has helped me grow into a much deeper version of myself – and that’s a worthwhile pursuit that I can’t see myself stopping.”
Musically, Strong Enough supports its motivational message with infectious instrumentation that could easily find a place on your favourite pop radio station. With foot-tapping beats, head-nodding guitar strums, and delightful violin arrangements, Dylan pours his heart out. His soulful songwriting could ignite a fire even in the Arctic.
