Drew Thomas is spearheading a new grit-pop revolution

Rising London energiser Drew Thomas will take you on a cathartic ride of gritty rock and alt pop.

Formed in 2019, Drew began crafting his unique blend in Nottingham and drawing on his own tales of rejection, broken relationships, and addiction. New single ‘You, Me & Desire’ explores his discomfort with sexuality and lust during his teenage years.

Arena-sized choruses and emotionally resonant lyrics strike their way through the song with venom as Drew’s vocals soar over the top. His cathartic storytelling is bold and backed up by impressive concoction of gritty pop guitars and energising alt pop beats.

Speaking about his new single, Drew Thomas comments: “Since I was younger, I’ve always found sexuality and lust really unnerving, hence why I spent the majority of my teenage years terrified of people knowing the real me and relying heavily on trying to make my musical offering as cathartic and honest as possible.

“‘You, Me & Desire’ feels like a revival for me musically but also a really honest account of those inner desires that can take hold of you in the heat of the moment, even if they can be hedonistic and damaging in retrospect.”

Drew Thomas has released several singles and EPs in five years, notably 2023 EP ‘Meridian’ with standout track ‘Twenties’. Drew is spearheading a new grit pop revolution and each song is projecting Drew even further.
