Sam Fender will make his Portuguese debut at the 17th edition of NOS Alive, taking the stage on July 11th. Arriving at Passeio Marítimo de Algés with his new album, Fender is poised to captivate the Portuguese audience for the first time.

His 2019 debut, Hypersonic Missiles, showcased his talent for crafting euphoric anthems, with tracks like “Seventeen Going Under” propelling him to global stardom. This critically acclaimed album earned him numerous awards, including BRITs, NME Awards, and Ivor Novellos, and garnered a Mercury Prize nomination.

Fender’s forthcoming album, People Watching, is slated for release on February 21st. The lead single of the same name was written for his late friend and mentor, Annie Orwin. The song reflects his reflections during her hospice visits. “People Watching” is a poignant and uplifting track that exemplifies Fender’s ability to translate his observations on life into emotionally resonant music.

North American indie-rock trio Bright Eyes also joins the lineup. The band is set to make its Portuguese debut on July 12th on the Heineken Stage.

Bright Eyes, known for their distinct sound and emotionally intense music, will release their 10th studio album, Five Dice, All Threes, this year. Despite nearly three decades of existence, the trio continues to push creative boundaries with each release.

Other highlights on the line-up include Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan, Benson Boone, girl in red, FINNEAS, Kings of Leon, CMAT, and Amyl and The Sniffers. Tickets for NOS Alive are available now.
