NYC duo Fcukers (Shanny Wise on vocals and Jackson Walker Lewis on bass, keys, and production) are starting 2025 strong with a hypnotic remix of their 2024 breakout single ‘Bon Bon,’ courtesy of MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden. This follows a recent Confidence Man remix of the same track and the release of their acclaimed Boiler Room set from San Francisco.
Freshly selected as one of Zane Lowe’s “25 for 2025” and named one of Dazed’s “10 musicians to watch in 2025,” Fcukers capped off a successful 2024 with their debut EP, ‘Baggy$$’. Released on Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint, the EP garnered widespread critical acclaim from publications like Pitchfork (who called “Homie Don’t Shake” a potential “song of the summer”), So Young, HERO, NYLON, Stereogum, PAPER, NY Mag, Marg.mp3, Office Magazine, Perfectly Imperfect, The Face, and Clash, among others. They also landed cover features with Notion and NME and were named an artist of the year by FADER, Rolling Stone, Pigeons & Planes, Crack Magazine, Mixmag, and Billboard.
Known for their energetic live performances, Fcukers opened for LCD Soundsystem in Los Angeles and during their 12-night NYC residency in December. They also supported Confidence Man on their sold-out UK tour and headlined their own shows throughout 2024, including a sold-out EP release party at NYC’s 88 Palace, a show at Under the Bridge in LA, opening slots for Dom Dolla at Forest Hills and LA State Historic Park, and a DJ set at Louis Vuitton’s “100 years in NYC” flagship opening alongside Mike D of the Beastie Boys.
Fcukers’ global reach extends across five continents, with performances at festivals like SXSW Sydney and Tokyo. Their 2024 highlights include a surprise set at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival (including an afterparty with Avalon Emerson and an Ed Banger 20th Anniversary show with Tiga), a pool party at the Justice after-party at Le Bain NYC (alongside Hudson Mohawke and Busy P), and their own single launch show at Mehanata, NYC. Their appearances at SXSW 2024 in Austin generated significant buzz, establishing them as a must-see act. They’ve also sold out shows in London, New York, and LA, and performed at major festivals such as NYC’s Governors Ball, Pitchfork Festival (London and Paris), Portola, FORM Arcosanti, Levitation, and the UK’s Great Escape.
Looking ahead, Fcukers are slated to perform at Australia’s Laneway festival series, Coachella, Wide Awake, AVA Belfast, and Forbidden Fruit festivals. Primavera Barcelona also featured “Bon Bon” in their festival announcement video. More 2025 dates are expected to be revealed soon.
