Dot To Dot Festival has announced a new partnership with Estrella Galicia, the premium Spanish beer brand, for its 2024 city editions in Bristol and Nottingham. This collaboration marks the first time the festival has joined forces with the beer brand, whose musical arm, SON Estrella Galicia, has been curating music and beer experiences since 2009.

Dot To Dot, renowned for its focus on showcasing emerging musical talent, will see Estrella Galicia supporting its Bristol (May 24th) and Nottingham (May 25th) events. The partnership aims to enhance the festival’s platform for new music discovery, leveraging SON Estrella Galicia’s established presence in the music event sector.

The festival’s activities will commence with a warm-up show in London on May 5th at Oslo, Hackney, featuring punk duo BIG SPECIAL and supporting acts.

BIG SPECIAL utilise their music to explore the socio-political landscape of contemporary Britain, focusing on themes of social depression and economic disparity. Their work draws from personal experience, poetic expression, and critical observation to portray what they describe as a nation in decline. The duo’s music addresses themes of desperation and struggle, highlighting the impact of social and economic forces on marginalised communities. They describe their work as “fight songs for a world gone wrong,” aiming to capture the tension between hope and despair.

Horrors, Fat Dog, Sprints, Lord Apex, Snooper, Sextile and Master Peace and many more are playing Dot to Dot Festival across multiple venues for the city takeovers on 24-25 May 2025.
