If you love pop with an EDM twist, I have a real treat for you today. Ania Diamond, a London-based singer-songwriter with a knack for reinventing pop through the lens of other energetic genres, has just released her first single of 2025: ‘It’s Me Again.’
Crafted during a Eurovision songwriting camp, ‘It’s Me Again’ has everything you’d imagine a real showstopping track to have: pulsing electricity, vocals that both enthral and energise, and an inspiring story of perseverance and self-transformation. Best of all, this track is more than just an eagerly anticipated single. It’s Ania Diamond’s statement of reawakening. Every note she sings makes one thing perfectly clear: nothing is going to stand between her and her dreams.
It’s Me Again
The track’s intro is laved with a shadowy delicateness that will immediately intrigue you. The combination of Ania’s balletic vocals and the unhurried electronic pulses meld together to create a degree of anticipation that crisps the fringes of the track’s texture. Simply put, the way that the vocals and instrumentals whisper against one another makes you feel as if you’re on the cusp of witnessing an eruptive light show.
That light show hits your senses during the chorus, and of course, Ania’s vocal delivery acts as the captaining firework. You just know that every soaring note was born of pure fire, and with the laser-tight beats and the turbocharged tempo to bolster her performance, Ania’s tenacity rises from the melody like a phoenix.
Another thing that I love about the choruses in this track rides upon the silence that leaps from the crux of the crescendo. The sudden halt snatches the breath of the instrumentation to shine the spotlight on one particular smirkish, almost sultry lyric delivery: ‘It’s me again.’ This line and the way that it is sung exude such confidence and resolve that you can almost hear Ania thinking, ‘Did you really think you’d seen the last of me?’ It’s so empowering!
What’s more, as the song continues, its glow only getting brighter and brighter, you get this lovely segment in which the instrumentals become mellifluously airy, and Ania’s voice sheds some of its chrysalis-rooted power to emphasise the vulnerability that she felt during her absence. And when that swell in vigour resurrects the vivacity of the melody, you can’t help but imagine a heroine overcoming her foes, reaching the top of the mountain, and shouting out, ‘No one will get in my way.’
Of course, with a track as motivational as this, it needs a powerful ending to really drive the story home. No surprise, Ania delivers here, too. Just when you think the breakneck stop of the instrumentals marks the song’s close, you hear one more isolated ‘It’s me again’ to truly emphasise Ania’s back-with-a-vengeance resurgence. All in all, this song is for the fighters out there, a voice that tells you not to give up in the face of adversity, and a story that shows you what you can do when you refuse to give up on your dreams.

Ania Diamond possesses all the fundamentals of an artist who creates music that truly connects with people. In other words, I don’t think there is any project that Ania Diamond couldn’t successfully lend her talents to.
