Rising Devon band 3 Days of Wonder have released their new single Maniacs, continuing to build on their growing reputation within the UK’s alternative rock scene.
The teenage quartet have made a name for themselves with their energetic live performances and an 80s-influenced sound that draws from artists such as Foo Fighters, The Police, Big Country, and U2. Their blend of driving guitars and melodic hooks has already earned them several local awards, including Best New Artist 2025 at the Devon Music Awards, Best Artist 2024 at Powderham Live!, and Best Newcomer 2023 from Smart Radio 101.
Maniacs keeps that momentum going with its layered guitars, solid rhythm section, and a production style that balances polish with grit. Lyrically, the track explores what the band describe as “a volatile, all-consuming love in which an individual is trapped in a world of chaos and desperation that at the same time is vital for survival.”
3 Days of Wonder have been steadily gaining live experience, performing at festivals and sharing stages with acts including Razorlight, Feeder, Supergrass, Happy Mondays, The Farm, and Nathan Dawe. Support from BBC Introducing has further helped the band reach new audiences, and Maniacs suggests they’re ready to take another step forward.
