Dry Cleaning have shared a quieter moment from their upcoming third album, Secret Love (out 9 January 2026), in the form of their third single, ‘Let Me Grow and You’ll See The Fruit.’ The new track follows the previously released singles ‘Cruise Ship Designer’ and ‘Hit My Head All Day’ and provides a distinctly gentler and more reflective side to the typically abrasive band.

‘Let Me Grow and You’ll See The Fruit’ was one of the first songs written for Secret Love and draws on a remarkably diverse set of inspirations, including ’60s folk act Pentangle, 2001: A Space Odyssey, ancient Roman poet Virgil, and musician Robyn Rocket. The new single is accompanied by another striking BULLYACHE-choreographed dance video, this time featuring Chicago-based experimental jazz and metal musician Bruce Lamont, whose saxophone contribution can be heard throughout the track.

Lyricist Florence Shaw described the track:

“The song is about hyper focus and loneliness. It’s confessional, like a diary entry, written in a stream of consciousness style.”

However, alongside the single release, the band announced the difficult decision to reschedule their North American tour dates, issuing a statement regarding the change:

“Aside from the great pleasure of sharing ‘Let Me Grow…’ with you all today, it is with heavy hearts that we must also share some important news. We have had to make the difficult decision to move our Jan/Feb ‘26 US tour to May. This is due to a number of factors, not least of which the increasingly hostile economic forces that govern touring in the present day.”

The band apologised for the disruption, noting that they have managed to reschedule the majority of the original shows for May and that all tickets will remain valid for the new dates. They added a final note on the scheduling difficulties: “Regrettably, we have been unable to make this work for all dates due to the shortened routing. Refunds will be available from your place of purchase and we will do everything in our power to play for you as soon as we can.” Dry Cleaning concluded their statement by thanking fans for their “patience and continued support. Love, D.C.”
