Carrie Matisse is a poet and singer-songwriter based in Toronto’s South Hill. Her latest release, The End of the World, can be streamed now. She wrote it on the night she learned her mom was diagnosed with cancer. The lyrics talk about wondering how the world could go on without your best friend, and how she hopes the people who matter to us will still be around after everything is done.
