Drawing from a real-life experience, producer and singer-songwriter KIRZTEN introduces herself to the electronic music scene with the inspiring debut track Breakthrough.

The song reflects a pivotal moment in her personal journey, capturing the emotional process of choosing a creative path and finding the courage to move forward without fear.
Born in New York City, Reana Kirzten Villanueva, known professionally as KIRZTEN, is an independent electronic producer with a strong academic and creative background. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Production and Design from Berklee College of Music, where she developed her sound and artistic identity.
During her time at Berklee College of Music, KIRZTEN gained live experience through several key performances, including the Electronic Singer-Songwriter Night at The Red Room at 939 (September 2024), the Future Pop Ensemble Showcase at 22 Fenway (December 2024), and the Berklee Commencement Concert at Agganis Arena (May 2025).
Although she initially worked as a service-oriented music producer on multimedia projects for her peers, KIRZTEN has now launched her solo career with a fittingly titled debut single, Breakthrough. The track is inspired by her own struggle to choose a creative path and the courage it took to let go of fear and fully commit to her passion.
From a musical perspective, Breakthrough stands out through its refined production and KIRZTEN’s adaptable vocal delivery. The harmonious backing vocals interact smoothly with the pulsating beat, shaping a vibrant electronic track that feels dynamic, well-structured, and memorable without relying on excessive embellishment.
