Meet The SKESH Collective, an on-demand merchandise design service, community and storefront that helps unsigned artists get ahead and makes ‘noise look cool’.
Introducing The SKESH Collective
George and Alex, the founders of The SKESH Collective, have both been in bands and know how difficult and expensive it is to be unsigned and pay for everything from recording to promo to merchandise.
This got them thinking. How could they properly support independent artists and the grassroots music scene? The solution ‘The SKESH Collective’.
The Collective is a space for independent artists, bands and promoters to sell beautifully designed merch in a way that’s accessible and fair. Instead of artists having to front high costs or order loads of stock, they help remove those barriers and make it easier to get merch out there.
SKESH offer design, print and promo support to the artists involved. That can range from merch design and production to posters, flyers, and visual content for shows and releases. It’s all there to help artists present themselves properly and reach more people, without the usual industry price tags.
SKESH Collective members include Sam Scherdel, TYMISHA, Lost Velvet, Rory Myers, Velvet Tuxedo and Sam Yelac. Discover them and buy their merch here.
.
The Collective is about more than just selling merch. It’s about community, collaboration and backing the people who keep grassroots music alive. Whether it’s a band playing their first shows or promoters putting on local nights, SKESH exists to support the work happening at ground level.
The SKESH Collective is about helping independent artists be seen, heard and supported. They have a simple mission. “Make Noise Look Cool”.
