Hailing from a small village in the North East of Scotland, Palebeak are steadily carving their space in the alternative scene. The two members first bonded over a shared passion for music and video games, a connection that later evolved into a creative partnership. After experimenting with smaller projects, they chose to focus fully on a refined direction that would shape the sound now associated with Palebeak.
Drawing influence from bands such as Muse, Royal Blood, Biffy Clyro, and The Amazons, Palebeak channels an energetic yet reflective approach to songwriting. Since launching in 2024, Palebeak has steadily built a growing body of work, and Hesitate now arrives as their first release of 2026. Direct in its approach, the song captures the emotional contrast of a relationship, revealing both its warmth and its tension.
Carrying the feel of an emotional ballad, Hesitate succeeds in striking a deep chord. It opens with warm acoustic guitar lines that slowly grow into a more layered arrangement as the song unfolds.
