Cash Honey’s “Say You Love Me” Is a Fierce Debut from Atlanta’s All-Queer-Femme Rock Band

Cash Honey kick the door down with their debut single “Say You Love Me,” and they are not asking politely. A snarling rock n’ roll riff rips open the track before grungy, sultry vocals slide in with pure defiance. The bass is fuzzy and blown out in the best way, rumbling like it might crack your speakers, while the drums start restrained and then detonate into full chaos. It feels sweaty, loud, and alive.

Formed in 2024, this five piece all queer femme rock band out of Atlanta, Georgia is channeling classic rock swagger with a sharp modern edge. You can hear the influence, but it never feels recycled. It feels reclaimed. The chorus hits hard and sticks with you, the riff is addictive, and the vocals carry both grit and hunger. “Say You Love Me” does not sound like a band testing the waters. It sounds like a band claiming space and daring you to look away.

If this is their first swing, Cash Honey is already throwing punches.
