Some artists make music to fill a void, while others do so in response to the void. Rising superstar Julia Bryant falls firmly into the second category. Growing up LGBTQ in northwest Georgia, Bryant came of age at the crossroads of two worlds that American culture has long treated oppositely: the church and queerness.
