Trans Day of Visibility is right around the corner, and we’re celebrating it the best way we know how, with a really incredible night of live music at one of WeHo’s favorite venues!
If you haven’t heard Lizz Shine yet, you’re in for something really special. Her song “If I Could Talk to My Younger Self” has this gorgeous reggae groove underneath it, beachy and warm and effortless, with punk style vocals that hit you with the kind of honesty that makes you feel truly seen. It’s a coming of age anthem about embracing who you really are, the kind of song that wraps around you like a hug and fills you with hope. Any queer person is going to feel this one deeply. It’s the perfect song for Trans Day of Visibility and hearing it live is going to be a moment.
Lizz Shine is a Sacramento based singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter and the fearless frontwoman of Lizz Shine and the HRT, an all-queer rock band blending punk, folk, and reggae. An out and proud transgender woman, Lizz writes and performs songs that center and celebrate trans and queer lives. After her solo debut “Shine,” the band’s sophomore album “The Reckoning” drops May 2026, and their third single “Not Gonna Take It” hit in February 2026 as a direct response to the hatred and challenges facing the trans community right now. She and the HRT are heading out on a West Coast Tour this spring and this show is part of it. Every song makes you feel seen, heard, and loved. That’s exactly the energy we need on March 29th.
She’s one of four incredible acts at the Trans Day of Visibility Concert at The Hotel Ziggy in WeHo on Sunday, March 29th, 2026. The full lineup is Ryan Cassata & The Top Surgeons (the Europe tour kickoff!), Astrud Aurelia, Kristen Ford, and Lizz Shine & the HRT. It’s a really talented bill of trans artists making some of the most vital, heartfelt music happening right now.
Kansas is actively passing some of the most aggressive anti-trans legislation in the country, stripping rights and targeting trans people at every level. 10% of every ticket sold goes directly to the ACLU Kansas to fight back. If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to show up for the community, this is a really good one.
Doors open at 6 pm, music starts at 7 pm. All ages. NOTAFLOF. Food and drinks available. Come as you are and let’s celebrate Trans Day of Visibility together, loud, proud, and full of joy.
