book NOT brooke Wants You to Get Up and Dance and “Nobody Dances Anymore” Is the Song That Will Make You Do It

I was at a dance party in LA this past weekend and nobody was dancing. Everyone just standing around looking too cool to move, and that’s usually how it goes here which is a bummer when you really want to go out and dance and let loose. book NOT brooke clearly felt the same way and decided to do something about it. “Nobody Dances Anymore” is a full on synth pop banger built for one purpose; to get bodies moving whether they planned on it or not. Sonically pleasing synth lines and vocal textures pull you in immediately, glitchy poppy synth riffs bouncing around a foundation of heavy four on the floor kick drums and bass that hits you straight in the chest and dares you to stay still. You won’t be able to stay still. The singalong factor is off the charts, the kind of track that gets in your head and stays there, and the lyric “Nobody dances anymore, so we started dancing” makes dancing feel like it’s for the outliers, the coolest of cool. book NOT brooke has called for a dance revolution and we are answering. Tune in and get dancing:

book NOT brooke’s new album, Dancer First is out now.
