Yorkshire indie-rock icons Shed Seven have unveiled their sweeping new single, “The Centre of My Everything,” marking the latest preview of their self-titled seventh studio album, Shed Seven, set for release on 8th January 2027 via Cooking Vinyl. Alongside the release, the band have announced a series of intimate, stripped-back instore performances and signings across the UK to coincide with the album launch next year.
Following the success of lead single “Stand Together,” “The Centre of My Everything” showcases an expansive, cinematic side to the forthcoming record. Built around sweeping string arrangements and an anthemic chorus, the track reflects the band’s continued creative momentum following a historic 2024 run that saw them achieve two UK Number 1 albums in a single calendar year with A Matter Of Time and Liquid Gold.
Reflecting on the romantic core of the new single, frontman Rick Witter shared:
“That feeling when love is all there is, when two are entwined as one, when nothing else matters apart from the other, when you can’t imagine a life lived alone, when you truly think of someone as being The Centre Of My Everything.”
The new single and upcoming instore dates arrive ahead of the band’s tenth edition of their “Shedcember” tour later this year. “The Centre of My Everything” is streaming now on all major platforms, with Shed Seven available to pre-order now via Cooking Vinyl.
