At just 23 years old, Kevin himself is still young, but not too young to look back with eyes that have witnessed the oceans of change between our childhood and our young adulthood. In way, this song was written by the same kid who grew up on his dad’s music, and the young man many would lovingly refer to as a kid with only $20 in his bank account. Kevin’s many selves and reflections are as earnest as they are endearing, and each sat down to write “Little,” guided by present Kevin’s musical identity meaningfully crafted in the years since its album artwork photo was originally taken.
