Grammy-nominated Dublin group Fontaines D.C. have released “Where Is Gone?”, a sweeping new collaboration featuring Spanish sensation ROSALÍA. Serving as the third single from their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber (out Friday 16th October via XL Recordings), the track marks the first-ever guest feature on a Fontaines D.C. LP.

Produced by James Ford, “Where Is Gone?” pairs lush orchestration with an intimate, intertwined vocal performance from frontman Grian Chatten and ROSALÍA. The collaboration holds personal significance for guitarist Carlos O’Connell, who has been reconnecting with his Spanish heritage.

Reflecting on ROSALÍA’s artistry and their shared musical values, O’Connell shared:

“I’ve been a fan of ROSALÍA since her debut album, which was absolutely beautiful. What really excited me was how she was keeping a Spanish tradition of music alive, which in a spiritual way felt akin to what we’ve tried to do with Irish music. For someone with roots in both countries, it’s been beautiful to see. She’s an artist who’s blown me away at every stage since.”

Follow-up to 2024’s UK platinum-certified Romance, Dopamine Chamber follows previous singles “Marianne” and “Tongue.” Ahead of the LP’s release, Fontaines D.C. will perform an intimate benefit show for CALM at London’s Roundhouse on Thursday 15th October, before embarking on a massive tour that includes two headline nights at Ireland’s Slane Castle in summer 2027.
