Bleech 9:3 have shared a dark, atmospheric cover of The Cure’s iconic anthem, “Lullaby.” Released to coincide with Halloween, the cover follows their biggest single to date, “Tourniquet,” and arrives amidst a wave of momentum following widespread radio play on BBC Radio 1.
Recorded during the writing sessions for their upcoming debut album, Bleed (set for release in 2027), the cover allows the band to pay homage to one of their primary influences while testing out new sonic directions.
Discussing the significance of the cover and its impact on their creative process, Bleech 9:3 shared:
Lullaby brings fear to life through song in a way that has been hugely influential for us. As we headed into the writing process for Bleed, recreating it in our own style helped us explore new sonic directions. We wanted to pay homage to both the song and the band at this point in our journey.
The release arrives ahead of their sold-out UK and Irish headline tour next month, which includes a date at London’s Electric Ballroom, and follows the announcement of a massive 2027 tour that features a headline performance at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum.
