Emma Miller has been hailed as ‘One to Watch’ by BBC Scotland’s Roddy Hart, an accolade that shouldn’t be surprising. Sick & Tired, which came out in May, delivers heartfelt tones that are dedicated to their purpose. I really enjoy the sound, it fades into the background while the light stays in the center. The vocals remain powerful, swirling around everything around them.
Emma says writing Sick & Tired was like saying “screw you” to her own inner doubts and pressures she puts on herself. She still connects with the lyrics deep down, but feels better now compared to then.
Honestly, this song exceeds what you could possibly ask for. Emma not only made herself known, but also pushed herself to a higher level. We love seeing that. It shows how ready the singer-songwriter is to take on any challenge.
