With Sparks, Melbourne-based singer Amanduh brings her latest tale to life. It has a pounding drum beat and soothing acoustic guitar. I love the vocals, as they give the lyrics the necessary hoorah. The chorus kicks in with grandiosity.
Sparks tells like a free-flowing story about a relationship. It feels like the people in it try real hard to make it work but there’s just no real connection there. But even though the relationship seems kinda empty, the song says you should taken it as a lesson and move forward better from it.
