Lucy Mayhem – ‘Into Hell’

Lucy Mayhem, the alternative rock artist known for her gothic imagery and powerful lyrics, has released her highly-anticipated EP ‘Into Hell’, a raw and vengeful 6-track exploration of her personal battles with depression and anxiety. Described as her “villain origin story,” the EP leads with new single ‘Save Me’ and delves into her struggle with mental health, capturing her fight for control and serving as a powerful anthem for those who also battle inner demons.

Sally Mango – ‘Love Inventory’

Sally Mango, a six-piece ensemble from the San Francisco Bay Area, have released their latest single ‘Love Inventory’, along with their third full-length album ‘Homemade’. Blending indie, soul, R&B, and pop, the band delivers fresh, funky vibes with ‘Love Inventory’, a groovy track that explores vulnerability and self-reflection, highlighted by lead singer Zia GV’s playful lyrics and the ensemble’s funk and jazz-infused melodies.

The Lower Aetna – ‘Blood Moon’

The Lower Aetna emerged from songwriter Dylan Gallimore’s quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a new creative outlet following the hiatus of his previous project, Honeyjar. What began as a solitary endeavour quickly evolved into a dynamic experiment in genre and storytelling, with Gallimore enlisting singer Kayla Rae Molocznik, his childhood best friend and former bandmate, to help bring the vision to life. Named after a South Jersey lake from Gallimore’s childhood, The Lower Aetna serves as a haven for creative exploration and retreat.

Jangus Kangus – ‘You Only Love Me When’

Los Angeles-based musician Jangus Kangus, the stage name of Jasmine Sankaran, returns with her dreamy new single ‘You Only Love Me When’, blending indie, punk, and synth-pop with touches of Americana and contemporary indie-pop. Growing up in a multiracial Indian-Vietnamese household in Ventura County, Jasmine was influenced by the Silver Lake rock scene and a DIY concert venue in a former Borders bookstore, which led her to start writing songs as a teenager. After studying poetry at UC Berkeley, she returned to Los Angeles to collaborate with producer Josiah Mazzaschi, developing her raw and experimental punk sound.
