Written in a single day following a nanny work trip to Palm Springs, Daphne Jane’s House in the Hills was born out of a rare, enchanted evening. Given the night off by her nanny family, Daphne and her girlfriend found themselves wandering a grand, deserted neighborhood in 75-degree perfection, dancing to old Lana Del Rey songs and soaking in the surreal beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains.
