Emerson, Lake & Palmer 7″ Singles Boxset (Review)

Vinyl boxsets are nothing new and certainly there have been a number of them released from classic era rock bands in recent years.  But how to make them unique and worth owning is a challenge. The new vinyl singles box from Emerson, Lake & Palmer, one of the most successful and innovative prog groups of all-time, is one that meets the challenge of being interesting and is made very well.

The box spans 1971-1992, and features 12 fan favorite singles from the band in an elegant 7″ vinyl box. The tracks have all been remastered by world-renowned ELP mastering engineer Andy Pearce. Featured tracks include “Lucky Man,” “From The Beginning,” “Fanfare For The Common Man,” “C’est La Vie,” “Jerusalem” and more, each in different colors and with original artwork and companion cards.

The set also contains an extended booklet with detailed notes, a foreword from Carl Palmer and rare band photos. It is a fantastic item and one that any big-time ELP fan would want to add to their collection.
