The mood is right on, Sebastiaan van Ravenhorst has swept away the excess and presents to us like an open book – with of course plenty of backstory. It reminded me of Dream Academy, all that ambient quality to go with the pop tones. You know you can beat a big musical spectacle for topping up the happiness index and ‘Feel’ sure does have that about it. And in the process Van Common has done something that happens very rarely and turned us onto a commercial work to a huge degree. This is life affirming stuff in fact. KH
