Interview with Laron Henderson

My name is Laron Henderson.

I’m a poet, spoken word artist. I got into poetry through journaling my own thoughts.

My poetry focuses on men’s mental health and emotions, as growing up and even now men don’t get to express themselves freely and openly without having their manhood challenged.

I write about my own struggles with this to help other men learn to express themselves emotionally.

This past Christmas I created a Christmas Poetry called the 12 Poems Of Christmas.
I write about the many social injustices that go on in the African American community to help bring awareness to it, and to help put a stop to it.

I have poetry about self-motivation as well as we all need encouragement to keep going on, even when we may not feel like it.
I’m working on getting my first poetry book published in this new year, with the goal of my poetry book being to help any man overcome their fear of self-expression.
