Singer-songwriter Julia Bhatt releases her new single, Time, alongside her sophomore EP, Grab Bag. It has melodic guitars that create a good level of tension. In addition, there are some drums that make the track even more fascinating. The chorus builds brilliantly, with the vocals taking the lead.
Time was written when Julia was going through a really bad depression. When you’re down, time doesn’t seem to move forward or backward, it just feels stuck. The constant presence of time, unyielding and unrelenting, at times can be suffocating.
