Irish singer-songwriter Lucy McWilliams returns with her tender new offering Plastic following the success of Slow Dancing earlier this year. There are unique guitar elements that lead the direction this time, providing an euphoric atmosphere. The vocals sound powerful in tone, expressing a great deal of personality.
McWilliams created this song out of a place of anger at herself for allowing a version of herself to take over that she wasn’t comfortable with, yearning for love. She realised how easy it is to downplay your emotions to fit into a lovelier version of yourself.
