Highly praised artist, Niamh Regan, makes a strong comeback with Madonna, a precursor to her much-anticipated album Come As You Are (set to be released in May 2024 via Faction Records). The track catches the ear with its delicate guitar melodies that meld into the ambient background. The vocals are mesmerizing, carrying the listener to a different realm of experience.
Madonna explores the existential realization of time slipping away as someone navigates their late twenties. Throughout the creative process in the studio, Regan experienced fluctuating moments of immense self-confidence, swiftly followed by self-doubt, questioning the quality of her music. This emotional rollercoaster, however, led to a deeper understanding and acceptance of self.
