Megan Wyn returns with indie-pop earworm ‘Are You Bored Yet?’

Poised as an exciting future artist, Megan Wyn kick-starts off the year with striking new single ‘Are You Bored Yet?’

Having sold out shows in 2023 and seen the backing of the BBC and Radio X, Megan has been through a complete transformation in her music, plus another year older, another year of experience and a hell of a lot more wiser.

Tipped by ICM as a ‘Ones To Watch’ in 2021, the Welsh artist ready to make her mark. ‘Are You Bored Yet?’ is arguably Megan Wyn’s brightest and most contemporary cut so far. The bright guitars and clever wit in lines like: “six months have passed, I still wear your clothes, I still water your plant”, sound like an artist truly brimming with confidence and having fun with it.

Megan draws on her love of Amazon’s blockbuster series, The Six, and PJ Harvey-esque croon, making the single a true earworm. Soft guitar riffs and ethereal vocals from Megan reach a booming chorus.

Speaking about the song, Megan said: “’Are You Bored Yet?’ is a song about holding on to someone who isn’t good for you.

“It’s a song about that period of time when a relationship is coming to an end & you keep asking yourself if you’re bored of trying to make a toxic situation work”

Looking ahead to this year, Megan has already been booked for a slew of festivals including Liverpool Sound City, GorillaFest amongst others that are to be announced. She will also be headlining London’s Notting Hill Arts Club on 13th March.

2024 promises to be a truly stellar year for Wyn with a headline tour + debut EP to follow later this year, the world truly is the young starlet’s oyster.
