Fie Eike produces, composes, and writes. Her latest release, Sad, resonates deep within. Its purpose is to express sadness about the emotional wounds we humans cause ourselves and others by avoiding our challenging emotions such as sadness and anger, or numbing ourselves to them. The lyrics are astounding, prompting you to reflect on your thoughts and feelings.
Sad is sparsely composed, but it works brilliantly. Brimming with emotion, the piano melodies sail forward like boats on an empty ocean. The vocals are wonderful, and sometimes their power is unbelievable.
