The way they launch the production into space is breathtaking. For a brief moment, you feel as if gravity has lost its grip. The vocals sparkle as if they were moons, casting a brilliant glow.
This song tells the story of caring for someone with addiction, while acknowledging that you cannot save them. It’s hard to give someone up so you don’t give up on yourself-a lesson Hannah learned more than once. That she acknowledges this says enough. She knew she wasn’t going to manage it anymore, and even though it was painful, she had to let go. Life can be so hard sometimes, it’s unfair.
