Dua Lipa debuted her latest single from her upcoming third album Radical Optimism. Illusion harkens back to the past, as the singer is accustomed to doing. A symphony of pianos and synths awaits you. The beat tackles a 4-step tempo while bringing forth pop magnetism.
Illusion talks about knowing what you’re getting into, but staying because it’s fun. Why is it fun? Well, because they think you’ve fallen for their illusion. However, that isn’t the case. You never took them too seriously.
The music video for Illusion shows some slick choreography. We see Lipa in shots with high divers, synchronized swimmers, and dancers. A substantial amount of budget must have been used, as it all looks picture-perfect.
