Eleri Ward embraces her new artistic identity wholeheartedly. She now concentrates on making original music instead of interpreting Stephen Sondheim songs. Moss has influences from folk and alt-pop. We love the strings here, they do things their own thing. The guitar patterns light the way. Regarding the singing, we can be enthusiastic, because it’s really good.
Moss symbolizes the feeling of returning to yourself. The lyrics have a celebratory tone, as they call for change. More often than not, it’s good to reinvent the wheel, giving yourself the opportunity to grow.
