London-based singer-songwriter Pixia releases her new single, Wonderland. It comprises 80s-inspired pop instrumentals that don’t decelerate, but intensify instead. The sound can be quite determined at times, and we totally dig it. Our favorite detail of this song is the synth pattern during the chorus. As a vocalist, Pixia holds up well.
In this song, Pixia speaks of feeling inadequate and fragile at times before realizing her power and accepting that she is exactly where she should be. It represents confidence, and inspires us to feel good about ourselves as well. There’s very little more important than having pride in who you are.
