The Running Minds (Chris Saunders, Jay Moussa-Mann, ad Patrick Jordan) are an indie pop-rock band from the UK. They shuffle the cards on their debut single, What It’s Like With You. It features lighthearted instrumentals that move the sound while also imbuing verve into it. The first drumbeat you hear was composed using a Yamaha PSS-140. A lovely fact, right? We believe the singing does what it needs to do, but more than that, it feels like the definite accent.
Jay wrote this song from the point of view of someone who devastated her life. Initially, she was skeptical about the lyrics. However, the other members of the band saw just how good they were. And we totally understand why. Jay shows realism at a high level here.
