It has emotive textures that help to construct the sound. Shimmering vocals weave the lyrics with pulsating rhythm. The intricate chorus sticks imprinted on the mind.
Something Now celebrates the joy of feeling again. It was written during a time when Bess felt empowered as she tapered off antidepressants. By doing so, she realized calmness still existed, and she became less frightened.
