Berlin-based guitarist and singer-songwriter Kai Mayu releases his new single, Cigarettes. It unlocks with a melody that fuels the production well, providing the springboard for the drums to bounce off. We love the delicate nuances during the chorus, which make the term “pefection” so accurate.
Cigarettes talks about the ending of an unhealthy relationship. While it’s unfortunate, you feel so free, and life is once again open to you. That can, of course, be considered good news.
