Edges is the fourth featured song from Hillary Capps’ latest EP, From the Quiet of the Underworld. There’s something inherently creative about it, even though it’s the most acoustic of the bunch. I believe the flow of the arrangement plays a role in this. Slick Melodic strings are also provided. The vocals are good at what they do.
Edges looks at letting go of your old self and embracing changes that come your way. We all go through different phases in life, some more significant than others. Whenever you decide to head in a new direction, it means saying goodbye to the path not taken. Closing one chapter and beginning another always brings sadness.
