Fife-born folk musician Jacob Alon has announced details of a new live album, Live From The Roundhouse, captured during their stunning, sold-out London performance back in April. The album is scheduled for a digital release on August 14th, 2026, with a limited-edition double vinyl release following on August 28th.
To mark the announcement, Alon has shared their emotional, stripped-back cover of Nirvana’s “All Apologies” recorded live on the night. The performance was also captured on 16mm film by director Peter Eason Daniels, with the full concert film set to premiere online this August.
The triumphant London show capped off a whirlwind breakout year for the Scottish artist, coming nearly twelve months after the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, In Limerence. Since then, Alon has become one of the most decorated new voices in British music, collecting the BRITs Critics’ Choice award, the Ivor Novello Rising Star award, BBC Introducing Artist of the Year, and Rolling Stone UK’s Play Next Award, alongside shortlists for both the Scottish Album of the Year and the 2025 Mercury Prize.
The 13-track live album showcases In Limerence at its most beguiling, putting Alon’s devastating vocal delivery and masterful instrumental restraint on full display. Fans who pre-order the physical double vinyl package will receive a signed print and a unique, genuine strip of the 16mm film used to shoot the performance.
The album release will land right in the middle of a busy live schedule for Alon, who is currently supporting Lewis Capaldi across a series of major outdoor shows this summer. Following the album drop, they will embark on their highly anticipated first headline tour of North America this October.
