Blue October’s Newest Music Video Celebrates 20 Years of Foiled
Joining “18th Floor Balcony” and “Congratulations,” Blue October has released a new music video for “She’s My Ride Home” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2006 platinum record, Foiled.
The song’s vulnerable themes revolve around risking everything for love, and the visuals of it are as dark as they are cuttingly beautiful. It’s as if time has stood still around Justin Furstenfeld’s lyrics while pairing with the sharp vision of director Zach Merck (Celine Dion, Saturday Night Live).

The band (frontman Justin Furstenfeld, drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld, multi-instrumentalist Ryan Delahoussaye, bassist Matt Noveskey, and special guest guitarist Will Knaak) kicked off the European leg of their 20th Anniversary World Tour back in May, performing Foiled in its nostalgic and brilliant entirety.
To the dismay and shock of many of their fans, Blue October never got to tour the album during its initial release and climb to platinum status. Now, twenty years later, that changes. Fans will hear the entire Foiled record live, including songs like “Hate Me” and “Into The Ocean,” and enjoy the new visuals that accompany them with their latest music video revivals.
