Abel Muñoz Marquecho was born in Veracruz Mexico. He had his first guitar at the age of 12. At the age of 18 he formed his first musical band which was a rock band. Over time he was asked to play in a versatile band and that’s how he started in the world of versatile music of cumbias norteñas quebraditas and all that popular music. In the year 2000 he came to live in the city of Omaha, Nebraska. and two years later he started playing with local groups and years later he formed a rock band. Rock was not much in demand in Latin culture and he decided to form a versatile musical group. During his career as a musician he began to compose songs and make musical arrangements but it was not until 2020 that he finally decided to record his compositions in professional way and start uploading them to musical platforms such as Pandora Amazon music YouTube music Spotify and all the others . His last song is called (La chica que conocí) The Girl I Met, it’s a romantic ballad. His musical influences have been many artists talking about versatile groups or ballad groups such as Los Solitarios, Los terrícolas,Los Freddys, Pasteles Verdes, Los Bukis, As well as Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, The Creedence

How long have you been making music?
Composing my own music for around 15 years, but formally recording it for about 5 years. and uploading them to the platforms for 3 years.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
My music is considered romantic cumbia and romantic ballad.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I have always liked music and I have been playing with groups for many years and finally I decided to leave a musical legacy but of my own inspiration
What are your biggest musical influences?
Los terricolas, Los Solitarios, Pasteles Verdes, Los Bukis, Los Freddy’s, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Ten years after, The who, Alex Lora etc.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m an independent artist.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
The biggest challenge in music has been precisely to make my own music known. There are thousands and thousands of artists who try to make our music known and it is practically like a grain of sand between millions and millions
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have 16 singles and a compilation in an album of 12 songs
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My last song was composed in a romantic style but with a drum rhythm a little different from the ones I have done before. It is something new. It is a new idea that I wanted to integrate into my compositions.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Yes, I have plans to finish another song. I am working on it. I am making the musical arrangements and later I will take it to the recording studio.
