Grandmas House have shared “The Table,” the latest single from their highly anticipated debut studio album, Baby You’re A Winner, ahead of its release on August 21st via Brace Yourself Records. A long-standing live favourite among the band’s devoted fanbase, the track’s official studio release arrives alongside the announcement of a massive Autumn headline tour. The extensive trek will see the band performing across Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, and the UK from September through November 2026.
“The Table” represents a soaring rock anthem for the four-piece, defined by churning, undulating guitar leads, an insistent, driving rhythm section, and layers of intricate vocal harmonies that dance around Yasmin Berndt’s signature syrupy, raspy lead vocals. Lyrically and structurally, the track holds a foundational place in the album’s history. It serves as a dual exploration of personal relationship breakdowns and the band’s shared lived experiences navigating the modern music industry as women.
On the single, the band continue,
“‘The Table’ is the first song we wrote for the album. It was written in part about a relationship that is falling apart and in part about our experiences as women in the music industry. We’ve been playing it live for a while now but it’s one that’s evolved and changed quite a bit over time. We’ve been lucky enough to be able to tour and play live in so many amazing places over the last few years, and it’s nice to think that this song has been shaped a little by all of those experiences.”
The accompanying tour announcement signals the band’s biggest live undertaking to date. Kicking off in Tromsø, Norway, on September 30th, the European leg will weave through major cultural hubs like Stockholm, Berlin, and Paris. Grandmas House will then head back to the British Isles for a high-profile string of dates, including a marquee London show at Oslo Hackney on November 17th, culminating in a triumphant hometown celebration at Bristol’s iconic vessel venue, Thekla, on November 21st. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
