Nat Dempsey is one of the newest emerging artists from Manchester with a killer blend of melodic indie pop and playful indie rock.
It’s been a couple of years since we’ve last heard from Nat with his folk-tinged single ‘How To Be A Scientist’, but the young singer-songwriter has a new spring in his step and is ready to get people bouncing.
New single ‘Everyday People’ takes Nat Dempsey’s hook-ridden music to the next level. It’s a mature sub-three-minute anthem with catchy riffs and jangly drums which make you want to tap your foot to the beat all night long.
Examining societal differences and acceptance through the lens of a fast-living couple going through the motions of a big night, ‘Everyday People’ is a seriously good indie rock anthem perfect for your summer driving playlist.
Nat Dempsey, said of the single: “On the adventures they are faced with differing perspectives from both themselves and others; are we wasting their lives away?
“Are we all just put here to have a good time? In the end, we’re all just everyday people who live in our own realities, and so we should be, free of judgement.”
Formed in 2018 with debut single ‘Laughter’, Nat has spent the last 12 months relentlessly gigging in Manchester at Manchester Club Academy, Future Yard and a summer slot at Eskfest.
Nat continues to go strength to strength with the new single ‘Everyday People’, listen below.
